Summary
Its protagonists the young Dashwood sisters, who, from conflicting characters, share the same desire for the pursuit of happiness. Elinor, calm and patient, hopes to overcome with her discretion the obstacles that impede her relationship with Edward Ferrars. Impetuous and extraverted, Marianne, on the contrary, does not hesitate to be conquered by the seductive Willoughby.
Characters
Henry Dashwood: Rich gentleman, father of the protagonists. He has a son, the only heir fruit of his first marriage. The second marriage has three daughters: Elinor, Marianne and Margaret.
* Mrs. Dashwood: Second spore of Henry Dashwood and mother of Elinor, Marianne and Margaret.
* John Dashwood: The son of Henry Dashwood, born of his first marriage.
* Elinor Dashwood: Eldest daughter of the Dashwood marriage. One of the two protagonists of this story is the sensible and reserved sister.
* Marianne Dashwood: Middle daughter of the Dashwood marriage. One of the two protagonists of this story is the sensitive and expressive sister.
* Margaret Dashwood: The youngest daughter of the Dashwood marriage. She is just a girl who loves world geography and tree houses.
